About the Artist
Dvoyd, aka Dustin Smith, is a Florida-based photographer, writer, and visual storyteller whose work exists somewhere between documentary realism and cinematic atmosphere. Influenced by skate culture, coastal living, Japanese street photography, and travel, his images focus on candid moments that feel lived-in rather than staged.
His work explores movement, impermanence, and human connection — the quiet details, overlooked environments, and fleeting interactions that often define real experience. Whether photographing late-night streets, local skate events, meaningful portraits, or crowded city scenes abroad, the goal is never just to document a place, but to preserve the feeling of being there.
Drawing from years spent working in service and trade industries, Smith approaches creativity through observation and lived experience rather than perfection. Alongside photography, his writing explores themes of identity, nostalgia, mental health, and modern lifestyle culture through a mix of editorial and narrative storytelling.
Recent projects include documenting skate culture in Florida, travel photography throughout Japan, and independent creative work centered on atmosphere, movement, and contemporary life. He is currently developing editorial projects, print work, and creative collaborations focused on travel, culture, and human experience.

Our mission
The mission of this work is to tell stories without relying on words—using light, shadow, and silence as the language. Through black and white imagery, each photograph seeks to distill a moment into its emotional core, capturing the tension, tenderness, or mystery that might otherwise pass unnoticed. The goal is not to show everything, but to suggest enough that viewers can bring their own histories, questions, and interpretations to the scene, co-creating the story with every look.
